Guidelines for a notable catch
The International Bluewater Spearfishing Records Committee recognizes while many
catches may not be of record size, they may still be remarkable. Since one of the missions
of the IBSRC is to celebrate the accomplshments of bluewater freediving spearfishers
around the world, we have dedicated a section of our Internet site to the outstanding
accomplishments of bluewater spearfishers.
There are no official guidlines for submission of a notable catch to the IBSRC. Due to
space
limitations, we may not be able to publish all catches submitted. Two criteria we shall
consider
is the size of the fish and the story of the catch. While one may not have a record-sized
fish,
we will consider any unusual or entertaining story.
Please review our current notable catches for an idea of what we are looking for.
You may submit your story over the Internet with a scanned photo of your catch
(make the photo 275 pixles wide, RGB color, in JPG format at 72 dpi.). Send to: Terry Maas
( tmaas@west.net )
You may also send a clear photo and a written account of your catch to:
